Merengue Dancing Doggie

I thought our border collie was agile and eager to learn new tricks, but this is far beyond the pale. The funny thing is that to this dog, this is normal behavior. You can see how much the pup is enjoying the performance!

Meg Whitman Twitter Fail

This video features a young, bispeckled, cross-dressing Asian bass player jamming to an Anime song called Fuwafuwa Taimu (Fluffy Time). It’s worthyness comes from a slip-up in Meg Whitman’s political campaign team who intended to share a political endorsement on Twitter, but had a typo in the link generated by a URL shortener. As a result, Meg Whitman’s followers were treated to this video. As one commenter put it, “Meg Whitman, Gubenatorial Candidate of California, s now so desperate to escape her Jon Voight good looks, that she is now seeking support from the cross-dressing Asian J-pop bass player demographic, because nothing says Republican Family Values like cross-dressiang Asians prancing about with a guitar and flashing the camera.” Such serendipity!

What is more amazing is that Kseniya had been at this for only a year when she was given the chance to deliver this performance.

Stanley Jordan - The Michael Jordan of Guitar

I remember hearing about this guy who played guitar the way a pianist plays a keyboard back in the early 80’s and quickly sought him out. His approach was originally developed by Emmett Chapman, inventor of the Chapman stick. But Jordan brought the style into mainstream jazz and to the attention of the world.

What, me worry?

I don’t think Google is evil. I tell myself that every morning when I wake up to that cute, colorful screen that wants to help me find whatever it is that I’m interested in. Google is my humble servent, isn’t it?
